Lunch Box
Since I first got into the hobby, I wanted a lunchbox. Something about a van on big wheels really appealed to me. I was never able to buy one, then they went out of the stores. I still wanted one, but didn't want to pay the prices on EBay. Then, Tamiya re-released the car, and I instantly bought one. This is probably one of the first - if not the very first - lunchbox re-releases to be assembled in Belgium...
I fitted the car with the supplied ESC, added full ball bearings, steering servo and receiver. Not sure if I'll ever run it, though... Just too affraid of damaging the body...

My first testrun was a semi-battery testrun in the backyard. For the second run, I tackled my parents' backyard... Some during and after- pics, forgot to take a before pic, but I think the images above are fine as 'before'...

Improvements
I added some improvements to this car, just because I felt like doing so. First off, I added ball bearings - but that was done from the off. Now I added oil filled shocks to replace the standard coils. Quite the improvement.

To stop the car making that 'clacking' sound when throtteling up, I added some screws in an invisible area. Haven't really tested it with this improvement, but I can't imagine it being worse than before. Will try this car out soon!
