Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
I made my own rock crawler from a TLT-01. It works fine, but the gearbox is a downside: first of all you need to lock 3 diffs to get it working properly. The central gear box uses a belt-drive sytem, which tends to slip under great torque.
This CR01 chassis has a great planetary gearbox. It's truly designed to be a crawler, so the battery is mounted to the front, the gearbox is very sturdy, the suspension is adjustable, etc. Also the center of gravity is lower than the TLT's.
The body's very well-painted, really proud of it. In fact, I'm so proud of it that I'm afraid to run it. I will make a runner body soon...
